Programs & Services

Family Promise of Lake Houston provides classes in life skills, budgeting, parenting and GED Fast Track. We also partner with local social service agencies and congregations of all faiths to provide basic necessities (regardless of a family’s race or religion).

We tailor success plans for each family, including financial, career and educational goals. By diligently implementing their plans, our families become self-sufficient.

These are some of the ways that Family Promise of Lake Houston facilitates the services and support that our families need to re-enter the community:

• We provide temporary overnight shelter and meals for up to 90 days.
• We assist in locating safe, affordable long-term housing.
• We help familie to Identify and develop the skills necessary for them to help themselves.
• We provide counseling.

Together, we will work toward ending homelessness in our community.
